The word “Ssahm” means “to wrap” in Korean. SsahmBBQ has been “wrapping” a blend of Korean meats and spices infusing them into a Southwest style cuisine. Founder, Andy Park, created the menu and rolled out the SsahmBBQ food truck in 2011. He later sold the business to employee, Jon Del Rosario (aka Dj Jonny5 to the local DFW nightlife scene) in October 2014 who currently owns and operates it.
SSahmBBQ has been serving at all the local spots, events, and festivals , including in The Dallas Arts District, Truck Yard on lower Greenville, the Frisco StrEATS Festival, and are winning new taste buds all across the Dallas-Fort Worth area with their iconic Kimchee fries and other Korean fusion menu items.
